We gave children and their parents the chance to step into the world of the legendary cartoon ‘Prostokvashino’ and become its characters!

The celebration took place in two cities, Moscow and St Petersburg. Online activities were arranged for children who could not attend in person.

At Avito’s offices, guests were welcomed by Matroskin the Cat, Postman Pechkin, Uncle Fyodor and the whole Prostokvashino team. Throughout the day, children joined New Year workshops: decorating gingerbread, cutting Christmas ornaments from foil, making charms and bookmarks, writing letters with wishes, spending time in the VR zone and filming trending reels. Father Frost and the Snow Maiden also came to wish everyone a happy New Year.

Parents joined in too: helping at workshops, taking part in shows and taking photographs in themed areas. The celebration ended with a memorable foam-block show that brought everyone together. Cubes flew towards the ceiling and emotions rose even higher: New Year had officially arrived in Prostokvashino. A celebration cannot last forever, but we believe we will meet again next year!
